Dear Readers,

A blog is a work of art, but it’s also a work in progress. Words From The Sowul started out as a platform to write about books and reading. After a year, I knew I was committed to the blogging process, but I wanted to explore outside the niche I’d originally created for myself. Thus began a new journey. By trying out different topics and ideas, I eventually came to find that my blog was, at its heart, an excavation of self. Through blogging, I process my experiences, think deeply and discover my personal philosophies of life. I’m grateful to have the opportunity to share these thoughts and philosophies with you.

Everyone’s perspective on life is shaped by their experiences. For me, surviving cancer at a young age has become the most defining experience of my life. I am profoundly blessed by the perspective it has given me.

It is my hope that Words From The Sowul will continue to grow, both in content and in emotional depth. I want my readers to think deep, reconsider conventional perspectives, and take the time to process their experiences.

(And sometimes, to share the love of books.)
