Big Question, Writing Prompt: Life Change

July 20, 2015 by Leanne Sowul Leave a Comment

Happy Monday morning! As you begin your workweek, before you jump into the minutiae of everyday work and life, take a moment to step back and ask yourself a Big Question. This can be a writing prompt, or just a question to ponder during the day.

What have you changed about your life in the past six years?

I thought about this question last night as I fell asleep. At the end of this week, I’ll be turning 34, which is 6 years away from 40. I decided to look backward rather than forward, and consider where I was in life at the age of 28. And that made me much more glad to be 34. (Feel free to change the number of years in your own question, to 3, 5, or even 10, but make sure it’s a long enough time to show an impact.)

Think, write and share this question with others.

Have a great week, everyone!
